Beginning with the Shards of Alara set, a red-orange expansion symbol denotes a new rarity: "Mythic Rare" (the Time Spiral set featured an additional purple coloration for "timeshifted" cards ). From Exodus onward, the expansion symbols are also color-coded to denote rarity: black for common and basic land cards, silver for uncommon, and gold for rare.

Theme decks serve a similar function however, they are always attached to a specific set or block, while compilations are free to pick and choose cards from any set.Īll expansion sets, and all editions of the base set from Sixth Edition onward, are identified by an expansion symbol printed on the right side of cards, below the art and above the text box. There also exist compilation products with a pre-selected and fixed card pool, such as the Duel Decks and From The Vault series. Men så hade jag ju Zendikar Rising som jag aldrig gått igenom och tog mig en titt för första gången nu i vekcan. Nu senaste veckorna har jag sökt efter kort till lekar, framförallt kort man glömt bort. Hade koll på ett få tal kort som spelades i Legacy men inte mer än så. Spyr nästan på det setet bara jag ser korten liggandes i min byrå.ĭär byggdes mina fördom emot Zendikar Rising, jag var så sjukt trött på Zendikar efter Battle for Zendikar att jag inte ens orka titta igenom detta set. Och om jag var besviken, de är de set jag hatat mest av alla set som kommit i magic.
Därför bestämde jag mig att när Battle for Zendikar kom ut så skulle jag köpa mig flera displayer, så jag köpte faktiskt 6st. Tycker om en hel del mekaniker och en hel del bilder på korten, till och med en del Eldrazi kort gillade jag där. Zendikar, worldwake och Rise of Eldrazi gillade jag. Zendikar Rising är nog det ända setet i magic jag inte hade någon kunskap om alls, alla andra set har jag gått igenom in i minsta detalj och kan de flesta kort i huvudet, men Zendikar Rising hade jag för mycket fördomar emot att jag inte ens kollat igenom mer än ett få tal kort.
